Ron Rexrode, Vice President of York Career Development, Inc. of Houston, TX has over 25 years of varied responsibilities in organizational effectiveness, management development and professional training. He specialized in productivity and continuous improvement processes, team development, performance management systems, executive succession planning, career continuation and suggestion awards programs.

As an internal consultant, Ron completed a variety of human resources planning and development assignments with BP/Amoco, Tenneco, Smith International and Transco/The Williams Companies. Recently, Ron was the managing partner of Capstone Consulting specializing in assessments and career development activities and founded e-Suggestions, an on-line suggestion awards company, both in Houston, TX.

He is past president of the Houston Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, guest lecturer of the University of Houston Main Campus and Clear Lake and taught management principles as an adjunct instructor for our Lady of the Lakes University in Houston. He was active in the Southern Gas Association and served as chairman, of the leadership development committee. He is also currently involved in several professional associations.

Ron holds a MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and a BBA degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.

As a volunteer, Ron was a tax counselor and training coordinator for the AARP Tax-Aide Program and also past president of his homeowner’s association. His interest vary from men’s softball and tennis to acrylic painting. He is a former Army officer having served in Japan and Korea.
